Our Approach

ChickenedIn is built with privacy in mind. We collect the absolute minimum amount of data necessary to operate the server and website. We do not run analytics, serve ads, or sell any data.

What We Collect

The only data we store is:

• Minecraft UUID and username, collected automatically when you join the server. This is used for stat tracking, leaderboards, and milestone progression.
• Discord account ID and username, collected when you sign in to the website or link your account. This is used to associate your Discord account with your Minecraft account.
• In-game statistics such as playtime, blocks mined, mobs killed, and similar gameplay data.
• Purchase records if you buy a rank, including which rank was purchased and when. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our systems.

What We Do Not Collect

• Email addresses
• Passwords
• IP addresses (beyond standard server logs)
• Analytics or tracking data
• Cookies beyond what is required for authentication

Third-Party Services

• Discord is used for authentication (OAuth2). When you sign in, we receive your Discord user ID, username, and avatar. We do not access your messages, servers, or friends list.
• Stripe processes all payments. Stripe has its own privacy policy governing how your payment information is handled. We never see or store your card number.
• Mojang API is used to resolve Minecraft UUIDs to player names for display on leaderboards and profiles.

Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on our own servers. Access to the database is restricted and the website operates with read-only database access. We do not share your data with any third parties beyond the services listed above.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification of any inaccurate data.
• Erasure of your personal data.
• Data portability to receive your data in a structured format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our Discord server. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Our services are intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
